Resolution Endorsed by the RFK National Resource Center
The RFK National Resource Center’s Transformation of Youth Justice Practice Network, comprised of experienced, committed and innovative leaders in the youth justice system from state and local jurisdictions across the United States, presents A Call to Action: Applying Best Practices for Successful Transformation of Youth Justice (Call to Action). This resolution seeks to support the acceleration of adoption and implementation of policies and practices that will ensure all youth, families, and communities realize positive outcomes within a consistently fair and just youth justice system. Through promotion of research-informed, evidence supported practices and approaches applicable within the unique environment and context of every state and local jurisdiction, the Call to Action provides a roadmap to achieve the optimal likelihood of enhanced state and local system performance and resulting positive youth outcomes.
